Habits & discipline · retention by process

Come back because you trade better — not because we manipulated you.

Everything on this page is designed to reward disciplined behavior over time, and to actively penalise the patterns that get traders blown up — overtrading, revenge trades, streak-chasing, FOMO. There are no XP bars, no daily-login rewards, no leaderboards by P&L.

Daily workflow

The engine refuses to arm until the morning gating steps are checked. The evening ritual is voluntary, but you lose your consistency credit for the day if you skip it.

Trader journal

Trader journal · prompted, not blankone trade per evening · two sentences max
Sample data — your entries appear here after sign-in.

A blank textarea is the journal's worst enemy. Each entry is anchored to a specific trade and a single prompt. You can answer in two sentences — that's the point.

Q · What did the engine see that you didn't?
Breadth had already rolled when I was still looking at price. Will add breadth tile to my pre-entry scan.
J-117·2026-05-28·L-2281 · BANKNIFTY 51200 PEcalm
Q · Was this trade in your plan?
Yes. Time-stop hit clean. No edits needed.
J-116·2026-05-27·L-2277 · RELIANCE FUTtilted
Q · What would you change about execution?
Used market when LIMIT-2 would have caught me. Slippage cost ~0.4R.
J-115·2026-05-26·W-2284 · NIFTY 24750 CEfocused
Q · Why did this work?
Patience — waited for the 2nd touch instead of chasing the first.
Entries are private. We will never use journal text for engagement metrics or model training.

Reflection prompts

Reflection promptsthree cadences · same purpose

We never ask you to "trade more". We ask you to think more clearly. These prompts surface on a schedule that matches how trader insight actually compounds.

dailyDid you follow your plan, regardless of P&L?

P&L is the wrong scoreboard for a single day. Process is the right one.

dailyWhere did the engine disagree with you — and who was right?

Track disagreements weekly. Pattern matters more than any single trade.

weeklyWhich playbook did you trade out of boredom?

Boredom trades are the single largest source of negative expectancy on our platform.

weeklyDid your worst day exceed your planned max loss?

If yes, the limit failed or you overrode it. Both deserve a writeup.

monthlyAre your trades getting better, or just more frequent?

Volume up + win rate flat is a red flag, not a green one.

Session recap

Session recap · todayP&L is one row of six · not the headline

The recap deliberately demotes P&L. Plan adherence and stop discipline lead — the number a long-term trader controls is process, not outcome.

Trade review loop

Trade review loop · 5 stepsone trade, every evening · not 'all of them'

The loop is deliberately one trade per evening. Reviewing every trade is how journals get abandoned in week three. We aim for compounding insight, not exhaustive coverage.

  1. 1
    Capturedone

Every fill is logged with intent vs outcome, no opt-out.

  2. 2
    Tagdone

Engine auto-tags each trade by playbook, regime and grade.

  3. 3
    Pick onein-progress

Each evening, pick a single trade where confidence and outcome disagreed most.

  4. 4
    Writetodo

Two sentences max. What you saw, what you'd change.

  5. 5
    Convert to ruletodo

If you wrote the same lesson 3 times, it becomes a checklist item or an engine gate.

Why step 5 matters: Repeated lessons graduate from journal entry to engine gate — your insight stops needing to be remembered.

Healthy engagement

Healthy engagement · what we don't doconstraints we apply to ourselves

Most fintech products are designed to maximise time-in-app and trades-per-week. We optimise against both. These are the gambling-adjacent patterns we have removed from the platform on purpose.

No streak counters for P&L

Win streaks invite revenge trading after they break. We track plan-adherence streaks instead.

Notifications are throttled

At most one push per session unless you opt in. Off-hours pushes require explicit consent.

No infinite-scroll feeds

The signal feed paginates. We will not show you a 200-tile wall of bait.

Cool-offs are non-negotiable

After 3 consecutive losses or a daily-loss breach, the engine pauses for 60 seconds. You cannot click through it.

Engagement ≠ trading

Time spent journaling and reviewing counts toward your growth — time spent placing extra trades does not.

No leaderboards by P&L

Public leaderboards by realized P&L reward variance and gambling. Ours, if any, rank by plan adherence and consistency.

A platform you can step away from is a platform you can come back to.
